RC SERVO SWITCH INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Below are 3 instruction sheets for the RC servo switch. There are 3 versions of instructions:

Version 1.0 - (2 wire output, red, black)

Version 1.1.x - (3 wire output, JR connector, Yellow/red/brown)

Version 1.2 - (3 wire output, Futaba type connector, white/red/black) CURRENT PRODUCTION

Versions 1.1.x and 1.2 are identical except for the color of the wires.

Version 1.0

RC SERVO SWITCH V1.0

This servos switch can be used on any un-used channel of your receiver. This device is a solid-state switch that can be used to operate any 5Vdc device. It could be used for a remote ignition, smoke pump, navigation lights, landing lights, retracts, rocket ignition, audio devices and much more.

This device operates and supplies the voltage from the battery pack. If being used on an ESC with a  BEC circuit check the amount of current the BEC will supply to operate receiver, servos and your  remote device. You do not want to exceed the current rating of your BEC.

Specifications:

Maximum operating voltage (switch able) 30Vdc

Maximum supply current (switch able), 6 amp

Logic voltage, 3 - 18 Vdc.

Weight - .25 oz / 9 gr

Version 1.1.x

External battery instructions for use with RC servo switch.

If using a ext battery for your lights or other remote device, use a simple “Y” connector

for hooking up the External battery. You MUST cut the RED (center) wire coming from

the RC servo switch output. This will isolate your receiver/servo battery from the external source.

Remember that you are switching the NEGATIVE side of the battery. Follow the above

instructions for proper polarity of battery and lights.

RC SERVO SWITCH v1.1.1

This servo switch can be used on any un-used channel of your receiver. This device is a solid-state switch that can be used to operate any 5Vdc device. It could be used for a remote ignition, smoke pump, navigation lights, landing lights, retracts, rocket ignition, audio devices, ignition kill switch and much more.

This device operates and supplies the voltage from the receiver battery pack. If being used on an ESC with a  BEC circuit check the amount of current the BEC will supply to operate receiver, servos and your remote device. You do not want to exceed the                     current rating of your BEC.

If you do not wish to use the ESC or receiver battery source, you must modify the output side of the RC  servo                      switch for a ext battery (see modifications amendments).

Specifications:

Maximum operating voltage (switch able) 30Vdc Maximum supply current (switch able), 6 amp, Logic voltage, 3 -18Vdc. Weight - .25oz/9gr.

Version 1.2

External battery instructions for use with RC servo switch.

If using a ext battery for your lights or other remote device, use a simple “Y” connector

for hooking up the External battery. You MUST cut the RED (center) wire coming from

the RC servo switch output. This will isolate your receiver/servo battery from the external source.

Remember that you are switching the NEGATIVE side of the battery. Follow the above

instructions for proper polarity of battery and lights. If LED’s are on all the time check the polarity of

the led connector.
